On the 04 March 2019, 50 black disadvantaged youth from the Moletjie community where given the opportunity to partake in a community house building learnership funded by the Construction Education and Training Authority (CETA). The learners completed their theoretical component and are currently undergoing their experiential training. As a form of social rersponsibilty, the learners are using the skills they have obtained to build homes for the community memebers who are not able to afford labour. The learners providing free labour indicates that every individual has a responsibility to act in manner that is beneficial to society and not solely to the individual. This programme has gone full circle by equiping the young learners with skills which they can use to give back to their community and have sustainable livelihoods.
